About Toby
Toby is a charming, middle-aged gentleman with a soft heart and a quiet nature. He enjoys head and chest rubs-always on his terms-and will happily keep an eye on you throughout the day without being demanding. Whether he's curled up beside you on the bed, keeping your paperwork warm, or quietly supervising your sewing, Toby's gentle presence makes any space feel more peaceful.
He's playful in short bursts and may surprise you with his lightning-fast left paw, but mostly he's content to lounge, blink slowly, and purr. Shy at first, Toby needs time to feel safe, and a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. Once he trusts you, he becomes a loving and loyal friend.
Toby would prefer a quiet home with adults or respectful teenagers. He doesn't like being carried and is sensitive to loud noises, so a peaceful environment where he can move freely and hide when needed will help him truly thrive.
