BEAR
Bear is a two year old male Maremma X Border Collie. Bear is dog social.

He is desexed, fully vaccinated and house trained. He is 48 kgs.

He successfully completed puppy school, scent training and further basic obedience training. He loves to interact with other dogs, no matter their size or age.

He is current with vaccinations (next vaccination due October 2025) and monthly preventative treatments for fleas and worms. Bear has no pre-existing health conditions.

He is very protective and loyal to people that he knows and accepts into his herd (the guardian nature of the Maremma). He is wary of people that he does not know. However, after some structured meet and greet sessions he relaxes around new people and accepts them.

He loves morning and evening walks and to play with his toys, particularly the squeaky ones. Loves to play tug-of-war with his toy rope and do zoomies in the back yard. Just loves belly rubs.

Bear is very dog social

Bear does lot like cats, Australia Post carts, and electric scooters. While on his walks, he barks and will lunge (he on a lead) at people who are loud, agressive and those who make any quick movements towards him.

Considering his size and nature, a home environment with adults and teenagers, rather than children would be better fit for Bear. He would benefit from a larger suburban block or acreage.
