About Rue
Rue is a spirited little dynamo with a heart full of love and a whole lot of personality. She’s a pocket rocket who lives to please and thrives on fun, whether it's chasing a ball, winning a game of tug-of-war, or romping around with her doggy friends. She’d absolutely love a doggy sibling to share her adventures with.
Rue is crate trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly eager to learn. She’s a fast learner with the brains and drive to excel in agility, flyball, or any sport that lets her show off her smarts and speed. Ongoing training is recommended — not because she’s behind, but because she loves a challenge and wants to make you proud.
When she’s not zooming around, Rue is more than happy to chill out on the couch with her humans. She strikes a great balance between playful and snuggly.
She’s also great with cats and chickens, which makes her a rare gem in multi-animal homes!
That said, Rue is still working on her confidence. She can be nervous around new things, men, and children, and will need someone with patience and understanding to help her slowly build trust. But once she knows you’re safe, she bonds deeply and is incredibly loyal and affectionate.
Rue has a true zest for life and wants nothing more than to share it with someone who’ll meet her where she is and help her shine.
If you’re looking for a smart, sporty, and sensitive soul who will reward your patience with unwavering love, Rue might just be your perfect match. 💕
