About Betty
Betty Boop is a total head turner, stunning white and brindle beauty, always bright and engaging. She charms folk on her walks and visits.
Betty is still a very young girl and full of endearing silly energy. She loves the stimulation of her foster family of humans and a foster brother, another greyhound. She will thrive in an active home with some space for zoomies and play. She is up for any adventure and loves car rides.
Betty is extremely affectionate and loves cuddle time with her family. She loves play time whether that is playing with her toys, a bit of chasing a ball in the yard or demolishing a cardboard box.
On her walks Betty is very inquisitive and loves to engage with neighbours. She is becoming more confident meeting other dogs on her walks and is generally very happy meeting most hounds. She is also very good having play time with other dogs in the back yard.
Betty is adapting to pet live in the home very well. Her toilet training is excellent. She is comfortable to chill for a few hours before needing access to the toilet. She has mastered stairs and likes to climb them to greet her humans in the morning. Otherwise she is happy to sleep in the living room with her foster brother.
Betty is a bright energetic girl who would be well suited to a home with active people who will include her in their excursions. She would be suited to a home with children over six who love to include her in their play.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
