About Minnie
Wolfhound cross
Meet Minnie – Your Gentle Shadow and Loyal Friend
This beautiful girl was rescued from a kill shelter while 6.5 weeks pregnant. Scared, underweight, and unsure of what the future held, Minnie didn’t give up. Just a few weeks later, she gave birth to nine perfect puppies — and proved to be a most gentle, patient, and loving mum.
Minnie is 3-years old and is a Wolfhound x, although she is a large dog, she is not Wolfhound size, she stands at 63cm to her shoulders.
This pretty girl is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate — always up for a cuddle, a game, or just following you from room to room to keep you company.
She’s not clingy, just sweetly devoted, with a heart as big as her wagging tail. She’s friendly, trusting, gentle, and full of playful energy. Whether it’s romping with other dogs, greeting strangers like old friends, or flopping over for belly rubs, Minnie brings sunshine wherever she goes. She can get a little vocal when she’s excited (who doesn’t?), but she settles quickly and responds well to calm reassurance. She’s also wonderfully polite on the lead, knows her basic commands (sit, stay, lie down), and has a good recall, with room for improvement.
Minnie is looking for a home where she can be part of the action, not in the center of attention, but never too far away. If you're after a loyal, loving companion who’ll bring joy, laughter, and tail wags into your life, Minnie is your girl.
Now that her puppies are all grown up and ready to fly the nest, Minnie is ready for her own happily ever after.
