About Rosemary
Rosemary has had a rough start to life, coming into care from a hoarding situation where she lived with too many other dogs who didn't always get along. Because of this, she's understandably fearful of other dogs and is looking for a calm, dog-free home where she can truly relax and shine. She is a tiny girl - weighing in under 5kg!
Despite her past, Rosemary is a playful and loving young pup. She enjoys games of tug and fetch (though she's not quite mastered the art of bringing the toy back!), and often entertains herself by zooming around the house or backyard with a toy in her mouth. Time outside is one of her favourite things, and she'll happily spend ages exploring or playing in the yard.
Affectionate and people-focused, Rosemary is the kind of dog who wants to be by your side - or better yet, on your lap. She adores cuddles, loves burrowing under the covers, and prefers to nap with her human nearby. She can be a little nervous at first, especially with new people standing over her, but once you're sitting down she's all snuggles and tail wags.
Rosemary is still learning about toileting routines. She'll use pee pads reliably in familiar spaces and is learning to go outside when taken regularly, especially first thing in the morning. She's best suited to a home that can continue gently guiding her with patience and consistency.
Ideal Home:
Rosemary would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with no other pets. She'd suit someone who's home often - perhaps someone retired or working from home - and looking for a deeply affectionate and sweet companion. Her gentle nature, love of cuddles, and independent play style make her an ideal best friend for someone wanting a loyal shadow.
