About Bug
Introducing Bug-a tiny tornado of fluff, mischief, and irresistible
charm. Bug is a black tortoiseshell kitten who believes every object in
your home is a toy, every nap spot is hers, and every cat she meets
is her new best friend (whether they agree or not). She may be small,
but this girl has main character energy.
Bug is basically a furry chaos goblin in the best possible way. She
zooms, she pounces, she climbs things that should definitely not be
climbed. Feather toys? Obsessed. Crinkle balls? Possessed. Your
feet under the blanket? A monster that must be defeated. She's also
a certified cuddle thief-once she's done with her shenanigans, she'll
curl up in the weirdest, cutest positions and purr like a tiny engine.
She absolutely loves other cats and insists on becoming their
shadow, sidekick, or personal wrestling partner. Got a cat who needs
a workout buddy or someone to knock things off counters with? Bug's
your girl.
If you're ready for a pint-sized comedian who'll keep you laughing,
snuggling, and on your toes, come meet Bug. Warning: adopting her
may result in uncontrollable joy and the frequent use of your phone
camera.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
