About Cleo & Nugget
Meet Cleo (Tabby 2yo) and Nugget (Ginger 4yo), a beautiful feline duo whose special bond is as heartwarming as it is unique. As best friends who rely on and love each other deeply, these two are looking for a peaceful home where they can thrive together. Cleo and Nugget have a dynamic relationship, with Cleo, the shy lady, relying on Nugget for guidance and reassurance as she finds her feet.
Cleo's gentle soul needs time to adjust to her new surroundings. She's a sweet lady who will blossom in a nurturing environment. With Nugget at her side, Cleo gains confidence and becomes more at ease in her home, thanks to Nugget's comforting presence and encouragement.
Nugget, the confident and relaxed half of the pair, brings a calming influence into their relationship. His love for lap time is unmatched, and he often seeks out cozy cuddles from his human companions. On chilly nights, you might even find this sweet boy snuggled under the blanket, providing warmth and companionship.
Their ideal home is one with patience and love, free from the bustle of children and canines, so these charming besties can fully enjoy their serene surroundings. Cleo and Nugget promise endless love and companionship to their new family and are ready to bring double the joy into an inviting, tranquil home.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
