About Ilinca
Pretty Pepper originally came into the shelter in March of this year as a tiny, and I mean teeny tiny, baby and the shelter vet team quickly realized that she was suffering from ringworm.
Ringworm is a common fungal infection and despite the scary name it is not caused by worms at all however it involves a long course of treatment and this is where our wonderful foster carer network stepped up to take Pepper into their home for her treatment period.
Unfortunately this long period of treatment, involving daily tablets and baths, means that Pepper is currently a little worried about handling as she expects to be given medication every time someone reaches out to touch her.
Give her a moment though and she quickly realizes that pats are fabulous and she relaxes into your embrace while giving little purrs.
Can you give this little battler the life she so deserves? Can you spoil her rotten with love and affection? If so come into the Cranbourne Shelter and meet her today.
