About Dusty - 7 Year Old Dachshund X
Meet Dusty the sweet and sensitive soul who just wants to be with you. Dusty is nearly 7 years old, he’s a very handsome black and silver dapple Dachshund X who weighs about 7kg. Dusty is the ultimate lap dog, who wants to be with you no matter what you are doing.
Dusty loves a stroll and a sunbake in the garden but on your lap will be his favourite place. Dusty loves people and doesn’t mind the dachshunds he is living in foster care with, he has not been tested with cats. He would not be suitable for a home with pocket pets.
Dusty needs a quiet calm home with not many visitors. He will need someone prepared to help him overcome his separation anxiety therefore he would prefer his humans home more often than not.
Dusty is ok with other friendly little dogs and would enjoy their company but would also be fine being an only dog. As he just wants to spend his days and nights with people.
He is not suitable to apartment living or with kids under 12.
Dusty's adoption fee is $600. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms. He is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption within NSW and ACT (no flights).

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
