Shelby is the perfect little pup, the cutest human shadow you have ever seen.
She is loving and cuddly, and will always figure out a way to squeeze in a cuddle or sneak her way onto the couch, and into your heart.

With the most perfect puppy dog eyes she has learnt the fastest way to get all of the best treats and given she is a labrador she is super food motivated!

This trait makes her amazing to train as she knows how to “sit”, “wait”, “come”, and has almost nailed the “down” command. She will also show an exceptional level of self restraint as she waits for the okay to eat her breaky and dinner.

Shelby is small but mighty and when eating all those calories, she knows she needs to burn them to keep the perfect summer bod.
Shelby is still working on her leash manners but has come miles already! She loves people, dogs and especially little kids, she just hasn’t figured out she can knock them right over. When on the lead she can get loud when she sees another dog she wants to say “Hi” to but it’s all out of love and excitement. Shelby, quickly turns into a puddle at their feet when she gets to the dog in an act of enthusiastic appeasement. And once greeted, she is ready to play!

She loves to relax on the cold floors and comfy beds but overnight she sleeps in a crate which helps her turn her brain off and sleep. She is toilet trained and knows where to go when she needs to go.

As a puppy she loves to chew, dig, and get her paws dirty anywhere she can so will need lots of enrichment to keep her busy throughout the day. We will be encouraging any new home to engage her beautiful brain in ongoing obedience training in a formal setting to ensure she gets to be the very best version of herself.
