Spirit is a wonderful, loyal companion dog who thrives on human closeness and would love nothing more than to be your devoted best friend. He would love to be a member of a household with someone around most of the time and who can take him out for lovely walks to keep him active and happy. This affectionate boy has a heart full of love and is looking for a family who appreciates a true best mate. He's responsive, listens well to instructions and has lovely manners, making him a joy to have around.

Spirit is great with children and is gentle and well-mannered around them. He doesn't seem to show a great deal of interest in other dogs when out and about, although is dog social, seeming to have a preference for smaller dogs over large pooches. We are sure he'd quite enjoy having a doggy companion.

Spirit is confident and handles loud noises well. He does appear to have a prey drive with the caged bird in his foster home, so may not be ideal for a home with our feathered friends.

This little guy will make the perfect lap warmer and companion for a lucky person or family.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
