Meet Luna, a gentle Maltese with a heart as sweet as her fluffy appearance. At 4 years old, Luna is looking for a patient and compassionate new family to help her flourish. Timid by nature, Luna is shy and can be easily scared, but with the right nurturing environment, she opens up her heart to reveal her loving personality.
Weighing in at a petite 7 kg, Luna is perfectly sized for indoor living. She's a tender soul who gets along well with cats and is selective with doggy friends. She prefers the calm company of older children, ideally those over the age of 10, who can understand her gentle needs and provide her with a sense of security.
Luna has been vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, ensuring she's healthy and ready for her new household in Stafford Heights. Her adoption fee is $895, a small price to pay for the joy and companionship she promises to bring into your life.
If you're looking for a sweet, mellow companion to join you on calm walks and cozy home evenings, Luna could be the perfect addition to your family. Give the gift of love to Luna, and together, discover the rewarding experience of nurturing a shy heart into a blooming friendship.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
