About Axel
Introducing Axel!
Axel is a Staffy x born 27th March 2025.
Axel's mum & her two sisters were all impregnated on the same day by the same male dog. All 3 mums are microchipped as American Staffy, however their head heights are all below the knee, so they are quite small for the breed. We believe dad is also a Staffy x. All puppies from these litters have been surrendered for rehoming & we have desexing appointments booked for the mums to ensure there's no more accidental litters.
While the photos don't show them, they all have the cutest & biggest ears you've ever seen!
Axel is currently housed with his siblings and they love to play and get along very well. He loves his human companions and meeting new friends.
Like every pup, Axel will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences to ensure he grows to be a well rounded fella.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Axel will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this little guy is a very loving pup who can't wait to find his forever home.
Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.
Axel's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Axel is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Axel is located in East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
