Haru

Hewoo peoples! My name is Haru, and I'm a big lovable goofy puppy looking for a new family to love me as much as I will love them.
I have no concept of personal space, as I love to get really close to you for cuddles and kisses - both giving and receiving - but am learning that if I'm asked to go to my couch/bed, I'll get told I'm a good boy and maybe even get a treat!
I know how to sit, drop, shake hands, and high five... and will even do them for just pats if you don't have treats on hand.
I'm a good boy at dinner time, and will sit and wait for you to put my bowl down before I eat. I also don't gobble or get funny when anyone comes close when I'm eating... I know my dinner comes twice a day without fail.
I am fully house trained, and once you show me which door goes outside, I'll let you know when I need to go out by going to that door and waiting for you to open it. I can hold overnight if you like your sleep.
I'm not a big fan of being left alone, but have been working on settling myself quietly in my big boy crate with a strong chew toy and/or a pig's ear while my carer has to go out for errands. Containment is just so I don't decide to chew on anything I shouldn't while not supervised - I'm still only a big puppy, and I should grow out of that sort of thing as I become an adult. I only turned 1 in May.
I love going out for drives in the car, visiting the vet (treats and cuddles are there!), and going for walks... but I'm still learning to walk better without pulling when all my excitement builds up at all the cool sights, smells, and new friends to be made.
Let's get serious now... I love my treats... and you don't need anything fancy either. I love carrots and fruit, and basically anything edible and safe for dogs should do the trick here... my carer uses pieces of my kibble even... I'm not fussy.
I'm quite a sensitive boy and do love regular pats and cuddles... and treats... don't forget treats, OK? My biggest goal in life is to please my humans, so I can be redirected easily if needed.
I have lived with another dog before, and am sociable, and we are working on training with other dogs as distractions. I'll probably love having a brother or sister doggy to play with and to keep me company, but they will need to be up for 34kgs of crazy zoomy fun.
