About Bonnie
Allow us to introduce Bonnie, a delightful 3-year-old Dachshund with a gentle charm and bright personality. With her expressive eyes and wagging tail, Bonnie invites you into her world where she quickly becomes the heart of the home.
This lovely lady has a keen love for interaction, especially with other dogs—Bonnie loves to make new furry friends. Cats in the home won’t faze her either; she’s wonderfully unbothered by their presence, taking comfort in shared spaces. That said, Bonnie is a little nervous with people initially, but patience and gentle encouragement go a long way. As she gets to know you, her outgoing nature begins to shine, and she eagerly steps into the limelight, craving your attention and love.
Bonnie would flourish in a home with older children who understand the beauty of a gradual friendship. Once she’s comfortable, her playful demeanor and love for treats make her a joy to be around. She’s like a little comedian in a furry package, always ready to entertain and be a part of the action.
Training is a journey she’s just beginning, and Bonnie will benefit from basic lead and obedience work to thrive alongside her new family. With dedication, love, and guidance, Bonnie is sure to become a charming, well-mannered companion.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to a devoted and sociable friend, Bonnie is eager to meet you. With her unique spirit and adorable antics, she’s sure to bring warmth and joy to her new family.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
