Meet Elias James – Your Next Adventure Buddy
3-Year-Old German Shepherd x Husky
Elias is an incredible young dog with a sharp mind, a playful heart, and a loyal nature. A striking mix of German Shepherd and Husky, he brings the best of both breeds: intelligence, sensitivity, and a love for fun.
Elias thrives in an active environment and enjoys learning new things. He’s highly trainable—crate trained, walks well on lead, knows his basic commands, and travels calmly in the car. He’d be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or exploring the great outdoors with a four-legged best mate by their side.
He plays hard and loves to wrestle, so he’d suit a home with dog savvy and confident kids who enjoy interactive play, or an adult looking for a loyal and lively companion.
Elias is good with female dogs and, while he doesn’t seek conflict, he can be unsure around other males—so a home where he can avoid that pressure is ideal.
Elias has a shepherd-like temperament: loyal, sensitive, and deeply bonded to his people. He needs a dog-savvy owner—ideally someone with working breed experience—who can provide structure, ongoing training, and plenty of stimulation to help him thrive.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
