With regular, gentle handling and patience, they can become wonderful little companions. While they're small in size, mice have big personalities and love to stay active-running on wheels, tunneling through bedding, and investigating new toys or treats.

Male mice are best kept individually unless introduced very carefully and monitored closely, as they can sometimes be territorial. They require a spacious, escape-proof habitat with good ventilation, soft bedding (avoid pine or cedar), and a clean water source.
