Well hello there, strangers! My name is Dorothea, but you guys can call me Dotti. I've been in foster care a little while now and it's been a hot minute since I graced you all with my presence. I thought it was about time I re-introduced myself. So, here goes...

Nature
I'm a very shy and timid girl but I have the kindest and most gentle soul you will ever meet. Not much is known about my past, only that I was found living with a colony of cats so, as you can imagine, my kitty skills are excellent! My people skills, on the other hand... not so much.

I'm not mean or anything, I'm just purr-etty terrified of them. They're big, tall, loud and scary and I'm a teeny little dot of a girl. I'm sure you can all understand why I'm a bit frightened of you all! The good news is that I am ever so slowly learning to trust my foster mama, hurrah! In fact when she gives me food I really start to let my guard down and I will allow gentle head and body pats.

Even though I am still on the nervous side I have shown time and time again that I want to take the leap and learn to trust hoomans. My pawrents are certain that in the right home, and with the right family, it won't take me long to achieve that dream.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Since arriving in care, I have been surrounded by a number of other foster kitties and get on well with them all. I am always gentle and friendly when one comes up to say hello. My pawrents often find me tearing around the house playing chase with my sister. She helps to bring me out of my shell and build my confidence up, so it is imperative that I join a family with another friendly kitty or two.

It is not known if I have ever met dogs or children before but, due to my timid nature, my foster mama thinks it would be best if I live with the older, more gentle and relaxed kind.

Likes / Dislikes
My favourite thing in the whole world would have to be eating, which is lucky for my mama as this is the only time I will let her touch me! Every night I sit in my spot and wait for her to give me some treats. If she's behaved, I'll let her pat me. You have to throw these hoomans a bone every once in a while, to keep their spirits up.
Other things I love include exploring, frolicking about in the ball pit and playing the days away with the other kitties in the house.

The only things I don't like are sudden movements and loud noises. They still scare me and I will run away and hide until I feel safe again. Thankfully, with the help of my furr-iends, it never takes long before I'm back to being my silly little self again.

My PURR-fect home would be with a wonderfully kind and caring family who have endless amounts of love and patience while I continue this journey towards domestication. I am an exceptionally precious little girl who, with time, will blossom into the perfect little kitty I was always destined to be.
