Say hello to Isla — a one-of-a-kind little sweetheart with rare ginger fur and a rare medical condition to match. Isla may walk a little differently to other kittens, but that doesn’t stop her from loving life to the fullest. She’s playful, affectionate, and has the quirkiest little trot that only adds to her charm. 🐾💕
After a series of tests, Isla's unusual gait was believed to be due to a congenital disorder, but thankfully it doesn’t cause her any pain. She’s already completed a special physiotherapy program and has improved so much. Her limp is barely noticeable now, and she continues to build strength and confidence every day. 💪🐈⬛
Isla can be a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes the ultimate cuddlebug. She adores gentle pats, curling up in your lap, and keeping you warm with her snuggly nature — especially during these chilly nights. She’s ready to move on from rehab life to living her best life with someone who’ll see the beauty in her uniqueness. 🌈

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
