Beep Beep!

Hey there, the name's Roadrunner! It's a real minefield out there in the world and living on the streets has taught me some important survival tips, like how to move fast, eat faster, and make a strong impression on everyone I come across. My experiences have left me a real independent boy, though that's not to say I don't enjoy a good scratch too - my favourite spot in right behind the ear! I'm a real sucker for tasty treats and will easily fall under the charm of anyone who delivers me food, especially if there's plenty of it!

My friends here at the shelter say I'm a bit wily and because of this, I'm in need of someone special for my future family. As much as I adore attention, I do believe in having too much of a good thing and can sometimes become overstimulated, especially when being held. I would feel much more comfortable in a household with only one or two adults who understand my needs and will show me both patience and love while I find my place in the home. We Roadrunners tend to be loners by nature too and I'm no exception, as I much prefer the company of people over my own kind.
