About Oscar
Meet Oscar, the big, handsome tabby with striking green eyes who’s as confident as he is affectionate!
Oscar is a young adult full of energy and curiosity. He loves to explore his surroundings, show off his acrobatics, and will happily entertain himself (and you!) with his zoomies and impressive parkour moves around the furniture. His favourite toys are anything on a string that he can chase, and he’ll never say no to a good play session.
When he’s done with his antics, Oscar’s sweet and snuggly side shines through. He loves pats and being close to his people, especially in the evenings when he’s ready to wind down and relax with you.
Oscar can switch quickly from smoochy to playful, so he’s best suited to a home where his family can read his cues and give him space when he needs it. While he’d be very happy as your one-and-only, he could also live with another friendly cat with a slow, careful introduction.
If you’re looking for a fun, low-maintenance companion who will fill your days with entertainment and affection, Oscar is the boy for you! 🧡
Medical notes
Oscar is in good health. A mild heart murmur was detected at his recent health check. No medications are warranted at this stage, however 6-monthly checks are recommended in future.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
