Hi there, I’m Jed! I’m a sweet senior pup looking for a calm and cozy forever home where I can truly relax and enjoy my golden years. These days I’m all about peace and comfort, a soft bed, a gentle routine, and someone nearby who understands the rhythm of an older dog’s life.

I thrive with a person who enjoys company and is home often enough that I don’t feel anxious or forgotten. I would love someone to cuddle up next to on the couch but if you need to leave me alone for a bit that is okay, just leave me with some food enrichment like a Kong or Bulli stick and I will be fine.

I’ve also come to realize that I do best as the only dog in the home. I like having my space and not having to share attention or navigate tense moments with other pups.

When it comes to kids, I’m more comfortable with older, dog-savvy children who understand that I might need a little personal space at times. I’ve earned the right to set my own pace with affection, and I really appreciate a home that respects that.
