Freda

Meet Freda, a gentle, sweet-natured and energetic Kelpie/Border Collie mix, who is looking forward to a brighter future after being rescued from the pound by ARK.

Although a little shy to begin with, Freda is affectionate and keen to please. Weighing 15 kgs, she may be small in size, but she has massive potential to be a loving and loyal life-long companion.

Gaining confidence in the world around her after a period of impoundment, Freda thrives on human connections. She has responded warmly to her foster family and will come eagerly when called for a pat and a cuddle. She is very dog-friendly, as you can see in the photos, and is fine with cats and kids.

Kelpie/BCs are known for their intelligence, loyalty and mild temperament, and Freda is no exception. She’s eager to learn, eager to please, and eager to have a home and family of her own.

Her perfect home would be one where she gets abundant physical and mental stimulation and is regarded as an integral member of a loving family. The more love she gets, the more she will give. With a little time and a little patience, Freda will be the perfect companion, never far from your side.
