About Oscar
Meet Oscar — the quiet one with the biggest heart
Approx 5 month old | Male
Oscar was on borrowed time at a pound when we were able to save him. Frightened and unsure, he spent his first days in care hiding away, trying to make himself invisible. But slowly and surely, Oscar is learning that love is safe.
He is still very shy and needs a calm, patient home where he will be given the time to feel comfortable. Once he starts to trust, he’s gentle, sweet and deeply appreciative of soft voices and gentle hands.
Oscar thrives around other cats and would love a home with a feline friend to help guide him. He would suit a home without young children — one where he can settle at his own pace, with people who see the beauty in quiet souls.
His journey hasn't been easy, but his resilience is remarkable. With the right family, Oscar will grow into the calm, loving companion he was always meant to be.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
