Marshall is a sweet and snuggly Border Collie looking for his forever home. He thrives in the company of other dogs and is currently living happily with canine friends in care. Marshall is not suited to suburbia or walks around the suburbs & needs a home on land where he can stretch his legs, enjoy the space he deserves & feel comfortable.
Marshall can be reactive towards men, so he is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will help him feel safe and supported. Once he trusts you, he is a total cuddlebug who loves nothing more than being close. He is incredibly affectionate, always seeking hugs and closeness with his people.
This clever boy is house trained, crate trained, and already knows some basic commands including sit, this way, and crate. With his smarts, affection, and eagerness to please, he will thrive in a home that can offer him both structure and love.
If you have room in your heart and home, and plenty of space outdoors, Marshall could be the perfect companion to join your family.

~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
