About Edith - 8 Week Old Staffy X
Meet Edith, a sweet, loving girl who has perfected the ‘puppy dog eyes’.
Edith is a staffy X puppy who came into care with her mum and two sisters. Edith is the smallest of the litter but she doesn’t let that stop her. She loves to run and wrestle with her littermates and her foster sisters before cuddling up with them. She has been socialised with puppies and adult dogs, small and large.
Edith is still quite young so is learning the basic commands and will need a family committed to her ongoing training, socialisation and toilet training.
Edith sleeps inside in a puppy pen and needs to be welcomed inside, especially at night. Edith loves her people very deeply so she needs a home where she can be a part of the family, included in day-to-day life, and given plenty of mental stimulation, play, and love. Being a puppy, Edith is very curious and loves to taste test everything so you must have a puppy proofed home.
Edith needs secure fencing and a yard that is completely puppy proof! This means no under house access, no soft soil to get out under and no choke hazards lying around.
Edith loves having playmates so love a home with a confident, adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate would be a great bonus.
Edith’s Summary:
🐾 Must be allowed inside as part of the family, especially at night
🐾 Needs a family committed to her ongoing training and socialisation (including puppy school)
🐾 Puppy proofed home and yard
🐾 Doggy companion is preferred or someone in the home that doesn’t work full time
🐾 Must return to DRN vet for desexing at 6 months
Edith’s mum Lettie and sisters Margot and Agnes will also be available for adoption.
Edith’s adoption fee is $800.00 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Edith is in foster care in Sawyers Gully, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast, and Sydney. She’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she is 5 to 6 months old.
