About Mateo
Mateo is the larger ginger brother, a calm and steady presence with a heart full of love. His soft, short fur shines like sunshine, and his gentle nature makes him the perfect kitten to grow up with a loving family. Mateo is looking for someone who will patiently help him learn to trust and feel safe, so he can blossom into the affectionate companion he’s meant to be.
He loves to play with his brother Gingersnap and would be happiest in a home where he has a feline friend to share toys, treats, and quiet moments with. Mateo is hoping for a family who understands the joy of nurturing a kitten’s confidence and is ready to spoil him with affection and care.
This gentle giant will make the perfect companion in your home—always ready for a cuddle after a playful romp, and eager to grow alongside you, learning what it means to be truly loved. Mateo is a sweet little fluff who will bring warmth, comfort, and endless purrs to your life.

Please note - at Rocky Roads Rescue we do not do single kitten adoptions. Please complete some research into 'single kitten syndrome' to understand why . Your new family member will either need a cat or a cat friendly dog to be friends with and keep them company. Consider adopting a pair of kittens to grow up together if you do not have a companion at home for your new addition - we do a discounted bonded fee for pairs.

⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
