Mickey has been returned to our care due to behavioral challenges that arose in his adoptive home. While we know Mickey has a lot of love to give, he needs a foster carer who can provide the right structure, training, and understanding to help him succeed. We have a trainer on board to help him who will also help his carer weekly over the phone.

At 7 years old, this spunky Pomeranian x Japanese Spitz is full of energy, sass, and personality. Don’t let his age fool you. Mickey doesn’t act a day over two! He’s sharp, cheeky, and guaranteed to keep you entertained.

✅ Walks well on lead (reactive to large dogs)
✅ Weekly support from his trainer included

Mickey is highly athletic and can jump impressively high, so a secure 6-foot fence is a must.

Due to his behavior in his previous home, we’re seeking an adult-only, cat-free, and dog-free home so Mickey can receive one-on-one attention and consistent training. While he gets along with small, friendly dogs, this time in care needs to focus solely on helping Mickey reset and grow.

Mickey comes with weekly support from his dedicated trainer at Pink Paws, who knows and loves him. You'll have professional guidance every step of the way.

Mickey can be food possessive with high-value treats and benefits from clear boundaries and structure. He’s best suited to someone experienced with dogs who can provide calm leadership, routine, and patience.
