About Rhunarb - PET Quarters Broadmeadow
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Rhubarb is a big handsome boy with a bit of fluff to my coat. He has a timid nature but will warm up really well after he is comfortable in his surroundings. Ideally it would be lovely to see him rehomed with his sister Pumpkin (also at Petquarters Broadmeadow and pictured with me) or to a quieter home with a mature couple or single person where he could gain confidence and come to fruition on his own terms. Rhubarb loves to snuggle with other cats, where he will lay on top of them to keep warm! He loves a good old cardboard box. He does love human interaction though and will sit next you for cuddles while full of purrs.
My Ideal Home:
I need a quiet and peaceful home where I can gain a little more confidence. I do warm up after a short period though. My owner will need to exhibit a little time and patience and an understanding that I have had an unstable past
What is Known About My Background:
My two siblings and I were dumped in cardboard boxes on a rainy day. We were found and lovingly cared for.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I have lived with other felines and am fine with them. No children as they may be too overwhelming for me. Unsure about exposure to any dogs

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
