Gizmo MP came into care after his temporary carer—who had taken on a litter of kittens from a friend who didn’t desex their cat—experienced a medical emergency and could no longer look after them. Thankfully, Cat People of Melbourne stepped in to help Gizmo and his siblings find the safe, loving homes they deserve.

Gizmo is a wide-eyed tabby with soft short fur and a gentle heart. He’s sweet, relaxed, and affectionate, with a deep love of cuddles and head boops. This handsome little man has a thing for catnip—his first experience with it was an absolute joy to watch, as he threw himself into play like a tiny wildcat. Gizmo loves food, chasing toys, and relaxing in sunny spots, and is very much the kind of kitten who melts into your hand once he trusts you.

He would do best in a calm home with people who can give him a little space to be independent, but who are also around often enough to soak up all the snuggles he's ready to give. Gizmo is used to being around other cats and gets on beautifully with gentle feline companions. He hasn’t been tested extensively with dogs but would be okay with a calm, respectful one. He’d be fine with kind, older children too.

Gizmo is a soft and loyal little guy who keeps an eye out for his siblings and loves being part of the family action without being overwhelming. He’s quiet, quirky, and adorable, and ready to start his life as someone’s very best friend.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
