About Thor
Meet Thor, a gentle, calm and affectionate young Mastiff mix, born around 1 October 2024 and currently weighing 32 kgs. He has a little more growing to do.
Thor would make an ideal addition to households seeking a relaxed, well-behaved and loving canine friend. Athough he's a gentle soul, Thor's physical presence and innate loyalty to his family make him an excellent choice for home protection.
Despite his mighty name, Thor has a quiet, happy and composed temperament and rarely barks, other than to let you know someone has entered his territory.
He loves people, is great with other dogs and is an all-round easy-going pup. His foster mum describes him as "a bit goofy". He is one of those lovable dogs with comical expressions and endearing antics, who makes you feel happy just being around them.
While Thor isn't overly energetic and is happy to sleep for hours during the day, he enjoys playtime with the other dogs in his foster home. He's calm and cooperative on leash, so will make a great walking buddy.
He has had no exposure to cats and kids since being in care.
Thor would thrive in a household that appreciates quiet and loyal canine companionship with occasional bursts of playfulness. He's not lazy as such, but he does love lazing around.
