Howdy, humans! My name’s Bosco, and I’d be absolutely chuffed to make your acquaintance.
With my dashing black-and-white coat (apparently I’m what the greyhound world affectionately calls a "moo cow hound"), I’m basically part dog, part dairy mascot, and 100% lovable goof.
I’m a fun-loving, snuggly boy who has perfected the art of leaning into humans for max pats and ear scritches. Seriously — if there were an Olympic event for "Most Persistent Pat Seeker," I’d have a gold medal and a victory lap planned.
When I first arrived at the rescue centre, I was a little anxious (new places are scary, okay?), but thanks to the patient love of the volunteers and a solid routine, I’m learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. I’m settling in more and more every day — but what I really need is a calm, loving home to call my own.
The Dream Home? One with kind humans who understand that slow and steady wins the trust race. I’d be happy to live with another dog, as long as they’re the easy-breezy, respectful type — no jumpy in-your-face types, please. A chill buddy would suit me just fine.
Despite my moo-cow likeness, I don’t need a huge yard — just a cozy bed, a few treats, and someone to love me forever. I promise not to take up too much physical space... but I will take over your heart (no apologies there).
So if you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, moo-spotted best friend to join your family, remember the name: B-O-S-C-O. Ready when you are.

If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, please complete an application form here https://greyhoundrescue.com.au/apply-now/ so that the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue can get on the case.
Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!
All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
