About Angel
Meet Angel, a spirited and joyful puppy who is the epitome of happiness wrapped up in adorable fluff. This vibrant youngster is searching for a new family to share her abundant energy and zest for life.
As an active puppy with a boundless love for playtime, Angel needs training and socialization to help her grow into a well-rounded adult. Her excitable nature makes her all the more endearing, as she finds joy in every little thing. Whether she’s chasing after a ball or excitedly greeting you at the door, Angel's enthusiastic outlook on life is truly infectious.
A social butterfly, Angel gets along well with other dogs and makes fast friends with her peers, establishing herself as the life of the party. Whether it's a romp in the park or a backyard playdate, she's in her happy place whenever she's engaged in doggy social time.
Angel would flourish in a home that matches her lively spirit, ideally with family members who love outdoor activities and have time to devote to her training and socialization. With a little patience and a lot of love, Angel is sure to bring endless joy and affection to her new home. Are you ready to welcome this happy girl into your life?
Medical notes
General comments: As a juvenile, Angel was diagnosed with demodectic mange, a normal commensal organism of dogs that can overgrow and cause severe parasitism in malnourished or genetically predisposed dogs. Her skin disease has resolved well with treatment. While most cases do not recur with proper nutrition and a normal immune system, some dogs may have skin disease flare ups. These can be prevented with regular parasite control for ectoparasites, as well as proper nutrition and routine health checks with a regular veterinarian.
General Comments: Angel’s elbows bow inward, and her wrists bow out, resulting in an angular limb deformity. Causes include genetics, nutrition and trauma before the growth plates fuse. While severe cases require surgical correction, Angel does not have any pain or lameness associated with her angular limb deformity, and her legs are symmetrical, so surgery is not indicated at this time. She may be predisposed to earlier onset arthritis, but otherwise has a good prognosis to lead a normal life.
