About Bear
Meet Bear!
Bear is a 10 month-old big-hearted, affectionate Rottweiler who truly lives up to the idea of being a "big teddy bear." Despite his imposing size, he has a gentle soul but a fun-loving, playful demeanor.
Bear has had a bit of a rough start & can, at times, feel a bit overwhelmed & anxious. With some consistency in his life, routine, safety & heaps of love, it won't take long to win Bear's trust & you will be be life-long companions before you know it.
Personality:
Super friendly and loving
Playful and cuddly - loves to snuggle, loves to play
Gets along well with other dogs (cats untested) with proper introductions. He has quite a lively playstyle & would need to be well matched to a suitable buddy.
Enjoys Sniffari walks and playtime.
Ideal Home:
Bear would thrive in a home with a family or individual who appreciates the quirkiness of rotties!. He is great with people although with a tendency to be a little mouthy at times, due to his age, breed & a touch of anxiety. He loves to play with toys; football, fetch & tug are his favourites! He would love to be a valued & important member of a family, being welcomed indoors & included in family life.
Bear requires secure fencing, 5ft preferred.
Health & Diet:
Up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, worming, desexed and microchipped. He's healthy and loves his meals, which help keep his big frame happy and strong.
Adoption Requirements:
Experience with large breeds preferred
Patient and gentle handling
Commitment to his ongoing care and love
Will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
