About Captain
Meet the gentle natured, small and sweet package ready to fit into life with his new crew. Captain is a Maltese cross with a tiny face bursting with character, sporting an endearing but gentlemanly underbite and a little tongue that pokes out when he’s sleepy
The hard work has been done with this little guy at 4+ years old, Captain has a perfect score in all best boy behaviours: he sleeps soundly all night (he puts himself into his nominated bed or crate); he is toilet trained; he has excellent recall; he loves to gently lean into any scritches on offer and he has yet to utter even a single bark!
Captain is mainly an inside dog, but he also likes to explore the garden; he loves going on walks and does the jolliest jog with a loose leash, ears bouncing up and down. Did someone say car ride? Yes please! Captain will adventure with you anywhere
Captain has spent time playing with other small and large dogs at his foster friend’s house and gets on well with others. When he’s had enough play for the day, he wanders off to find a quiet spot for a nap. Captain would be content in a home with or without other dogs and would be best suited to a lower energy household.
Captain would make a particularly great companion dog, once he’s found his people he’ll happily sit by your feet and watch the world go by together.
He has impeccable manners with grooming and stands patiently for muzzle and paw cleaning. He has a rough coat which would need the occasional brush but otherwise is pretty low maintenance.
If you think Captain sounds like your kind of matey, his foster mum would love to have a chat to answer any questions and to provide additional information about this special dog.
