Ballad is a gentle soul wrapped in Kelpie smarts and sweetness. While her sister Sonnet might be the escape artist, Ballad is more likely to stay by your side, watching, learning, and waiting for her next cuddle. She’s intelligent, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented — the kind of pup who thrives on forming strong bonds with her humans.

Ballad is still a young working-breed pup, so she’ll need an active, experienced home that understands the importance of ongoing training, stimulation, and structure. While not quite as adventurous as her sister, she’s still a Kelpie at heart — full of energy, cleverness, and the drive to learn.

She gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, and is fine with dog-savvy cats. Ballad is currently working on her puppy manners like not jumping or using her mouth during play, so she’ll be best suited to a home with older kids/teens who can help her learn boundaries in a gentle and consistent way.
