About Rhonda & Minnie
Introducing Rhonda & Minnie!
These beautiful girls are Maltese x Cavalier sisters, born 17th April 2019.
Rhonda (short hair) & Minnie (longer hair) were surrendered to the facility and their surrender profile states they're normally kept outdoors but they are toilet trained, they're friendly with children & adult strangers, they mostly travel well in the car and know how to sit on command.
They are such sweet girls who absolutely love human attention. Both girls are full of life & love and are desperate for their second chance.
Both girls tested well with other dogs, however neither were overly interested in socialising with them. We believe Minnie & Rhonda would be suitable to live with other dogs, or be the spoilt only "children" at home. If you have another dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
While their surrender profile states that neither of them like cats, they both tested quite well with the cats we have at the facility. We believe they could be suitable to live with cats, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
Unfortunately both Rhonda & Minnie would be best suited to a home with no pocket pets.
Rhonda & Minnie show no signs of separation anxiety, as long as they're kept together. When separated from each other, they cry & fret until they're reunited.
Their adoption fee is $1000 and includes their desexing & lifetime registration.
They are also regularly treated for flea and worms and are up to date with their vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
