About Buttons - 4 Year Old French Bulldog X Pug
Meet Buttons – the sweetest little FRUG (Frenchie x Pug) you’ll ever meet, who's just needing a bit of extra guidance!
At 4 years old, Buttons is the perfect mix of cuddly companion and cheerful sidekick. He’s happiest when he’s with his person, following you around the house and keeping you company through all of life’s daily tasks. His affection is gentle and calm-no over-the-top kisses or jumping, just a snuggly presence curled up in your lap or beside you on the couch.
Buttons absolutely loves his walks and gets so excited by the sights and smells outside that his focus can wander a little. While he knows commands like “sit” and “stay” beautifully at home, he finds it harder to respond outside when he’s caught up in the adventure. Despite his enthusiasm, he’s polite and well-mannered he doesn’t bark at or chase people or other dogs, he just wants to keep moving and hopes you’ll pick up the pace too!
Social by nature, Buttons gets along well with other dogs and is curious (though a bit too playful) with cats. He’s a smart little guy who’s very food-motivated, which makes him easy to train and eager to please. He also travels well in the car.
Toilet training is still a work in progress. He does well most of the time but can have the occasional accident if he’s not taken outside regularly. He’ll need a home with someone who’s around most of the day and willing to continue helping him build good habits. His anxiety when left alone means he’ll do best with a person or family who can offer lots of companionship and patience.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun little dog who just needs a bit of extra support with his toilet training, Buttons could be the perfect addition to your home. He’s ready to be your new best friend.
