About Missy
Say hello to Missy, a delightful JRT mix who is full of life and eager to find her new family. Missy is a fun friend with an outgoing personality that will win you over in no time. She is wonderfully sociable and doesn't hesitate to run up to you for a cuddle or a pat, expressing her joy through infectious enthusiasm.
Missy walks well on a lead, yet her adventurous spirit sometimes means she gets curious and wants to explore her surroundings. Her love for treats and attention makes her an easily trainable companion, and she’s quick to jump up with excitement when it's time for a new adventure or cuddle session.
At the shelter, Missy has shown good manners with other dogs, displaying her social and friendly nature. While she hasn't shown much interest in cats at the shelter, keep in mind her JRT lineage might spark her curiosity if a cat dashes by.
Missy’s love for exploration means she’ll fit in beautifully with a family ready to embrace her spirited nature. Whether you're looking for a companion who will accompany you on daily adventures or simply someone to snuggle with, Missy is ready to bring boundless joy and love into your life.
Medical notes
Missy had bilateral inguinal hernias which were repaired.
She has moderate bilateral Carpal Valgus - Monitor
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
