Claris

Claris has known love before. For most of her life, she had a warm lap, quiet windowsills, and someone who whispered her name like it meant something. But after spending time at the pound, lost and confused, she found herself in a shelter, sad and far too old to understand why everything she knew had vanished.

Her joints may be a little achy, her vision may be a little more cloudy, and she sleeps more than she used to-but she still purrs when gently brushed, and she still leans into affection like it's a memory she never wanted to lose. She doesn't ask for much. A soft bed, a calm home, and someone to remind her she's still wanted.

Claris deserves to spend her retirement years in peace, not in a busy shelter. She's not just looking for a home, she's hoping to find her special someone who will hold her paw at the end of the day and show her that she never has to be alone again.
