Meet Midnight (aka Mac) – The Bumbling Braveheart 🐾
At just 13 weeks old, Midnight—affectionately known as Mac to his foster mum—is all long legs, floppy paws, and oversized puppy charm. He walks like he’s borrowed someone else’s legs, but don’t worry—he’ll grow into them… eventually!
Mac is an adventurer at heart—bravely exploring the backyard with wide eyes and an occasional faceplant. He’s still figuring out the whole “balance” thing, but every stumble is followed by a determined shake-off and a “let’s try that again” attitude. Basically, he’s like a tiny, wobbly Mac truck with zero brakes—and it’s adorable.
He starts off a little shy with new dogs and cats, but his curiosity always wins out. One minute he’s inching closer with the courage of a lion, the next he’s jumping in the air and bumping into a pot plant. But true to form, he dusts himself off and gives it another go.
Mac is learning fast, picking up new things every day and growing more confident by the minute. He’s affectionate, sweet, and always up for a cuddle when the adventures are done.

Adoption details
At W.I.S.H Rescue, our goal is to match every animal in our care with a loving, committed home where they’ll be cherished for life. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best fit—for both you and your future furry companion.
📝 Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application
Complete our online adoption application form for the dog or cat you’re interested in. This helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what kind of pet would be the best match.
📞 Step 2: Application Review & Follow-Up
Our adoption team will review your application and contact you within a few days. We may ask follow-up questions, request photos of your home, or conduct a phone interview to ensure a great fit.
🐕 Step 3: Meet & Greet
If your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. This could be at your home, the foster carer’s home, or a neutral location depending on the animal's needs.
🏡 Step 4: Trial Adoption (2 Weeks)
To help everyone settle in, we offer a two-week trial period. During this time, we’ll check in and offer support to ensure a smooth transition.
✨ Step 5: Finalise the Adoption
If the trial goes well and everyone is happy, we’ll complete the adoption paperwork, transfer microchip details, and welcome you as an official member of the W.I.S.H Rescue family.
