About Rubble
Meet Rubble, the gentle giant with a heart as warm as his chocolate brown coat. This handsome Shar Pei is a delightful mix of calmness and charm, making him the perfect addition to a family seeking a loving and devoted companion. Rubble has a keen sense of loyalty and adores the company of children, friendly dogs, and even cats who don't mind sharing their space. While he may take some time to warm up to larger humans, rest assured that once you've earned his trust, you will forever have a friend by your side.
Rubble's personality is marked by his calm demeanor and instinctive watchfulness. While he's not known to bark much, vigilant, observing surroundings with poise and assurance. He thrives on affection and enjoys engaging in cuddles when he's comfortable, so be prepared for a loyal pal who delights in being nearby. His training is coming along nicely, as Rubble responds well to commands, especially when treats and positive reinforcement are involved. Keep in mind that Rubble is sensitive and appreciates gentle, yet firm, guidance.
When it comes to health and grooming, Rubble is relatively low maintenance, though his droopy skin around the eyes does require regular cleaning. It's a small task compared to the immense love he gives in return. Although Rubble may experience some car sickness - a common challenge with a bit of drooling - periodic short trips can help him acclimate to car rides. He's been evaluated by a behavioral vet for anxiety and thrives best in a nurturing, supportive home.
Rubble is eagerly waiting for a kind-hearted family to call his own. Whether you're enjoying lazy afternoons at home or embarking on new adventures, he'll be by your side, a constant source of love and comfort. If you believe your home is ready for a loyal and patient companion, look no further than Rubble. Adopt Rubble today and start a beautiful journey with this lovable Shar Pei!
Medical notes
