About Boo
nature he is anything but! Meet the world’s most chihuahua chihuahua- he’s sparky, intelligent, active, inquisitive and of course- sassy!
Boo is incredibly confident for his pint sized body- loud noises? No problem! Car rides? You mean nap rides?! People? THE BEST! Dogs, they’re okay, but he understands the disadvantages that come with being under 2kg!
Now, with all this good stuff, what’s the drawback? Well, this little guy who fits perfectly in your hand… absolutely hates being picked up and held. He freezes, shakes and can’t wait for it to all be over. For this reason, he really needs to find a home that respects his bodily autonomy. His carers have worked very hard on gradually introducing being handled through consent games and have made great progress, but he will need more help in this regard. If you’re sitting on the couch though, you’re fair game- he will nuzzle in as close as possible for a cuddle.
Boo has shown so much of his sassy little personality, his carers say their favourite thing about him is when he’s hungry- he’ll pick up a bowl (even if it’s full of water) and gently throw it at your feet until you get the hint! He loves his food, though does have some minor tummy sensitivities. His absolute favourite food is strawberries, which he recently tried to pluck directly from his foster grandparents strawberry bush!
Boo is an incredible little dog who will bring so much joy to his very lucky new family. He is best in a household that does not have children (due to being averse to being held and touched). He would be great with another calm dog or on his own and is good with cats (as long as they don’t chase him)
Please send us an informative email about your family and lifestyle to sasrescue@gmail.com so we can see if you and Boo are a good match.
