About Firefly
🐾 Meet Firefly - Your Spark of Joy!
🐱 About Firefly
Firefly is a beautiful 9-month-old cat with an adventurous spirit and a gentle heart. With her sleek coat and bright eyes, she's a true beauty inside and out. Firefly is full of curiosity and has a playful, yet calm nature. She's eager to explore the world around her but always enjoys winding down for some cuddle time with her favorite humans.
🧩 Personality & Behavior
Curious & Playful: Firefly is still in her kitten phase, which means she loves exploring, chasing toys, and engaging in interactive play. She's sure to bring excitement to your home with her playful antics!
Loving & Affectionate: Though she has plenty of energy, Firefly knows when it's time to relax. She loves snuggling up with her humans and receiving affection. If you're looking for a cuddly companion who enjoys quiet moments, Firefly is the one!
Independent Yet Social: While she loves attention, Firefly is also content on her own and doesn't demand constant interaction. She enjoys being around her people but will happily entertain herself with toys when you're busy.
🏠 Ideal Home
Firefly is looking for a loving home where she can be her playful self while also getting plenty of attention. She would do well in a family with other pets, especially if they are calm and social like her. Firefly's gentle personality makes her perfect for households with children, and she'd thrive in a home where her curious nature is encouraged, but she also has plenty of space to relax.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
