Hi, I’m Arnie. I’m a two-year-old flame point domestic short hair, and yes—I know I’m handsome. When I first arrived at the shelter, everything felt pretty overwhelming. I was shy and unsure, keeping to myself and trying to figure out what was safe. But with time, patience, and a little love, I’ve started to show my true colours.

Now, I’m really coming out of my shell. I’ve discovered how nice it is to get pats, and I’ve become a real smoocher. I’ll happily rub up against your legs and let you know when I’m ready for affection. I still appreciate a calm, understanding approach—someone who knows cat body language would be perfect for me.

I’d prefer a home without young kids (12 and over is fine), where I can continue to build my confidence and bond with my humans at my own pace. I’m ready to find my people and settle into a loving forever home. If you’re the patient, gentle type and think we could be a good match, I’d really love to meet you.
