About Sandy
Meet Sandy!
Sandy is a beautiful, yellow Labrador Retriever who is 3 and a half years old. She is a friendly, confident, and optimistic girl who quickly becomes everyone's best friend. Sandy's affectionate nature and happy personality make her a wonderful companion for a loving family.
Personality & Temperament:
- Lovable, friendly, and approachable
- Affectionate and playful
- Confident and social, loves making new friends
- Very dog-friendly and enjoys walks with her shelter dog buddies
- Still getting used to walking on a harness due to very few outings in her previous home but eager to go on adventures!
Ideal Home Environment:
- Would love to join her family indoors-she's not destructive, noisy, or demanding, just super waggy and friendly!
- Has lived outside previously but is ready to be a cherished indoor family member.
Loves & Preferences:
- Enjoys the company of other dogs
- Loves to play and be active-she's a "go go go" kind of girl!
- Would thrive with a family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities and cuddles.
Important Notes:
- May chase cats and chooks-supervised introductions recommended.
- Very food motivated to help you smash those training goals
- Should meet any children beforehand; she should be fine with dog-savvy, respectful kids.

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
