About Rita
🌪️ Rita the Rottie – Chaos Coordinator in Training 🌪️
Meet Rita: 18 weeks young, 15kg of roly-poly energy, and a certified tail-wagging whirlwind. This little lady has spent the last 8 weeks in shelter care carefully perfecting her “puppy zoomies” and “innocent face” combo—and trust us, it works.
She’s sweet, social, and absolutely convinced the world is hers to explore… even if it means skidding into your laundry basket or enthusiastically greeting the cat (who may or may not appreciate her vibe). Rita needs guidance—she’s not yet housetrained or crate-trained, and sometimes her leash manners lean more “drag race” than “graceful stroll.”
But give her love, training, and plenty of enrichment, and you’ll unleash a dog with the heart of a hero and the loyalty of a legend.
🎓 Training Needs:
Leash manners (maybe skip the roller skates for now)
Basic obedience (she’s eager to please, just easily distracted by butterflies)
Consistent routine and crate training
Bucketloads of praise and play
She’s great with kids, cats, dogs, and even the elderly—so basically, she’s got social credentials to rival a small-town mayor. Just add patience, persistence, and some tasty treats, and you’ll have yourself a lifelong bestie who moonlights as a couch ornament and part-time comedian.
Come meet Rita—she’s ready to tumble straight into your heart. 💕You are welcome to call Sue at Iron Dog Rescue on 0437010492 for any questions about the dogs or our adoption process.
