Hughie (On Trial)

Hugh went on trial on 16/7. Pls consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly sandy, scottie, and miss millie. . . Meet hugh jackman, 12 month old maltese x shih tzu puppy. He can't sing or dance but he sure is handsome! also affectionate, playful and house trained! he has fitted in well with our other dogs and enjoys their company but he also seeks human company, lapping up attention while not being demanding. . . . Hughie loves various toys and will bring them back, whether a ball, stick or toy. Being allowed inside is important to him. He snuggles up in your lap or in his basket happily. He is not fussy with his food and likes chicken necks to chew on. When we go walking he gets very excited so he needs a little bit of discipline and training for obedience though he won’t go far and returns when called. Hughie isn’t one to bark. I haven’t exposed him to cats or young children but he is such a sweet placid nature that he would be friendly and accommodating with both, i expect. . . . Hughie's lovely soft coat is white with some caramel colouring. He doesn't shed so he won't leave hair around your house, but he will need regular combing, bathing and clipping. He was recently groomed so his hair is quite short now but is growing back. . . . Hughie is an intelligent young lad who learns quickly. He loves company so would prefer a home where he has someone around often or another small dog for company. Hughie is one bundle of delight for any home!. . . *** please see more photos of hughie at
