Introducing Lucy, a delightful Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mix who, at four years old, has plenty of love and joyful energy to offer her new family. Weighing in at a petite 4 kilograms, Lucy's small size complements her affectionate and charming personality. Though she may come across as timid initially, she quickly warms up and finds joy in the company of familiar faces, especially if they're over 12 years old.
Lucy is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, ensuring she's healthy and ready to become the cherished member of her new home. Her delightful companionship extends beyond her family, as she's quite sociable with other dogs and enjoys a lively playtime, but also needs time to warm, to dogs and people. She is a SLOW BURN . While her feline friendliness is untested, her sweet demeanor suggests she would adapt well with gradual introductions if you have cats at home.
Residing in Red Hill, this little lady is looking for a home with secure fencing where she can feel safe and explore her surroundings with confidence. For Lucy, having a stable environment and patient, understanding humans is key to building her confidence and allowing her friendly nature to shine through.
If you're seeking a petite and loving canine companion, Lucy's adoption fee of $895 will grant you a loyal friend who is sure to bring joy and warmth to your life. Are you ready to provide Lucy with a nurturing home where she can continue to blossom?

🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
